This past week we took a short trip to Long Island, NY to visit some of The Mister’s family and to celebrate Little Bug’s second birthday!

This was Little Bug’s second time on a plane but his first time with his own seat!  I am happy to report he did very well.  I packed his little carry on bag with a tiny tub of playdoh, a handful of crayons, his favorite stuffie friend, a little book, and a snack.  It was just enough to keep him busy during our 1.5 hour flight.

Not a good day for a trip on the Long Island Ferry.  Dreary and gray, blah.

Aren’t these beach pebbles yummy?  I was sure to grab a few of them with hopes of turning them into some jewelry.  Don’t you think they would make lovely rings?
